Common questions

Dwello is an AI-powered home management app that helps you track your appliances, stay on top of maintenance, manage home spending, and get proactive advice. All in one place. Think of it as a personal advisor for your home.
Go to the Appliances tab and tap the + button. You can enter the make, model, purchase date, and warranty manually, or tap Scan Appliance to use your camera to auto-fill the details from the label. There is no limit on how many appliances you can add.
Yes, completely. Dwello is free with no limits: unlimited appliances, tasks, spend tracking, Smart Reminders, Home Passport, and the AI Advisor. Premium features are planned for a future update, and we'll give you plenty of notice before anything changes.
Dwello is currently free with no subscription required. If you ever have a paid plan in the future, you'll be able to manage it on iPhone via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You'll always be able to cancel before the next billing period.
The AI Advisor is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you ask a question, relevant details about your home and appliances are sent securely to Claude to generate a personalized response. Your data is never used to train the AI model.
The Home Passport is a comprehensive PDF report of your home, including your appliance inventory, maintenance history, spend summary, and home details. It's useful for insurance purposes, selling your home, or just keeping a complete record.
First, check that notifications are enabled for Dwello in your device Settings → Notifications. In the app, go to Settings → Reminders and confirm your reminder preferences are turned on. If you're still having issues, contact us at contact@dwello.homes.
You can request account deletion by emailing contact@dwello.homes. We'll delete all your personal data within 30 days. Note: if you have an active subscription, cancel it first through the App Store or Google Play to avoid further charges.
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use row-level security so only your account can access your home data. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
We appreciate bug reports; they genuinely help. Email contact@dwello.homes with a description of what happened, what you expected, and your device model and iOS/Android version. Screenshots are always helpful.
