Welcome to Dwello. By creating an account or using the Dwello app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dwello, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Dwello.

2. Description of Service

Dwello is a home management app that helps homeowners track maintenance tasks, appliances, spending, and contractors. It includes an AI-powered advisor feature that generates responses based on your home data.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Dwello.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you enter into Dwello (home details, tasks, photos, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.

5. AI Advisor

The Dwello Advisor is powered by artificial intelligence and is intended for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, construction, or otherwise).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Dwello for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
• Use the AI Advisor to generate harmful or abusive content.

7. Subscription and Payments

Dwello is currently free to use. If we introduce paid subscription tiers in the future, they will be managed through Apple in-app purchases. Pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly at the time of purchase and governed by Apple's App Store terms.

We will provide advance notice before any charges apply. You will never be charged without explicit consent.

8. Disclaimers

Dwello is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that maintenance recommendations will be accurate for your specific home situation. Use the app as one of several tools in managing your home.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dwello and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any decisions made based on AI Advisor responses.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting contact@dwello.homes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
